Elite monsters
A monster that respawns in a hunting place sometimes comes back as a Savage, Elite or Mythic version of itself: tougher, and better paid. Find the chances and multipliers below, taken from the server data.
What they are
There are three tiers, from the most common to the rarest: Savage, Elite and Mythic. The tier is part of the monster's name, so a tiered dragon is a Savage Dragon, an Elite Dragon or a Mythic Dragon. You see it in the battle list, when you look at the monster and in the loot message.
A tier is rolled when a monster respawns, so tiered monsters turn up where people hunt. Savage needs a monster worth at least 5 experience, Elite at least 20 and Mythic at least 150, so every Mythic is a real fight.
A tiered monster is still its own kind: it counts for hunting tasks, follows the normal death, loot and PvP rules, and drops ordinary items, only more of them. Convince Creature doesn't work on it.
How to recognise one
Its name is drawn in its tier's colour: blue for Savage, purple for Elite and gold for Mythic, like rare, epic and legendary items. It also arrives with an effect where it respawns, and a Mythic one with a message on the screen of everyone who can see it.

A Mythic Dragon Lord appears!
Loot of a mythic dragon lord: 187 gold coins, 2 dragon hams, a royal spear, a dragon scale mail (mythic loot).
Aldric slew a Mythic Dragon Lord.
Spawn effects: red sparkles for Savage, an energy burst for Elite and a death burst for Mythic.
Chances and multipliers
Each eligible respawn rolls once, starting from the rarest tier.
| Tier | Savage | Elite | Mythic |
|---|---|---|---|
| Chance per respawn | 2%1 in 50 | 0.4%1 in 250 | 0.02%1 in 5,000 |
| Monster worth at least | 5 exp | 20 exp | 150 exp |
| Hit points | ×1.5 | ×3 | ×6 |
| Damage | ×1.5 | ×2.5 | ×4 |
| Experience | ×2 | ×5 | ×15 |
| Loot | ×3 | ×6 | ×12 |
| Rarity chance | ×1 | ×2 | ×3 |
- Hit points, damage and experience multiply the monster's own values. The damage counts for every hit the monster deals; poison and fire it leaves behind stay as they are.
- Loot is how many times over the monster's own 8.0 loot table is rolled, the normal roll included.
- The rarity chance multiplies the chance of every item in the loot coming out rare, epic or legendary.
- At most 10 Mythic monsters live at once; a Mythic roll beyond that becomes an Elite.
Where they never appear
Tiers appear on normal hunting spawns. Never on these:
- Monsters placed when the server starts after the daily save, so every day the world starts without tiers.
- Monsters on Rookgaard.
- Monsters in protection zones and in quest rooms where you can't log out.
- Bosses, monsters that live in only one place on the map, and quest monsters.
- Monsters that come from a lever, a raid, a game master or a summon, and the daily boss.
Mythic kills
Only the players who can see a Mythic monster appear are told about it, and there is no way to track one. When it dies, the whole server reads who slew it, and the kill is posted on our Discord. The credit goes to the player who dealt the most damage (in a party that shares experience, its leader) or to the owner of the summon that did.
