Server launch, accounts, the game client and gameplay rules.

When does Grimveld start?

The launch date has not been set. We'll announce it on the website and Discord at least 7 days before launch. Until then, survey responses help us decide what to work on first.

Is it free?

Yes. Without Premium you can play Rookgaard and the free cities (Thais, Carlin, Venore, Ab'Dendriel and Kazordoon), sail between their harbours, get promoted and learn every spell. Premium opens the premium cities and adds convenience perks and the ability to own a house, without extra experience. The shop sells only cosmetics, convenience items, Premium and account services.

Will there be resets?

No. The world has no end date and no scheduled resets. Characters and progress stay, under the normal game rules such as death loss and house rent.

Which client do I play with?

Our own client, with a launcher that keeps it up to date. It's the only client allowed, and it must stay unmodified. Downloads open together with account registration.

Are the graphics from 8.0?

The map, rules and monsters are from 8.0. The client uses newer graphics. You can enable a classic 8.0-style interface in the settings.

Can I play several characters at once?

Yes, as long as you control each of them yourself. One account can have one character online, so a second character needs a second account. A character that follows another and heals, attacks or loots on its own is a bot.

What happens to botters?

A person on the game staff reviews every case. A first offence means a 7-day ban, a second a 30-day ban and a third a permanent ban, counted per account. A ban for botting earns no refund.

Can I reserve a character name?

Name reservations will open after we announce the launch date.

What language is the game in?

English: the client, the NPCs, everything in the game and this website. Discord has Polish and English channels, and support answers in Polish or English.

Where is the server, and what's the ping?

In a data centre in France. From Poland the ping is about 40 ms.

Which time zone do you use?

Polish time (CET/CEST). The server saves every day at 06:00, and the daily boss appears at 19:00.

How do I report a bug or suggest an idea?
