Bed mages
A Premium character can sleep in a house bed. It leaves the game at once and gets hit points, mana and soul points back while you're away, which is why mages sleep between rune sessions. Sleeping works as it did in 2007.
How to sleep
- You need Premium. A free account can't sleep, not even in a house it owns: the game says "You cannot use this object."
- Go to a bed in a house or guildhall you can enter: your own, or one whose owner has invited you. Beds outside houses are only furniture.
- Eat until you're full, then use the bed at its pillow end. You leave the game at once, and anyone who looks at the bed sees that you sleep there.
- Log in again to wake up, with everything that came back while you slept.

What comes back
Food keeps hit points and mana coming. Without it, only soul points come back.
| Hit points and mana | 1 of each every 15 seconds while your food lasts, 240 an hour |
|---|---|
| Food | Lasts 5 times longer than awake: a full stomach, 20 minutes awake, lasts 100 minutes asleep |
| From one full stomach | 400 hit points and 400 mana, up to your maximum |
| Soul points | 1 every 15 minutes, fed or not, up to your maximum |
| Skills | Nothing: there is no offline training |
A bed mage's day
A bed mage is a Premium druid or sorcerer who turns sleep into runes. Log in, eat until you're full, spend your mana on runes and go back to bed. 100 minutes later the food is gone and 400 mana has come back. Sleep on and only soul points keep coming, 4 an hour, so a night of 8 hours brings 32.
Runes and full stomachs
| Rune | Vocations | Mana | Soul | Full stomachs |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Ultimate Healing RuneDruid | Druid | 400 | 3 | 1 |
| Heavy Magic Missile RunePaladin, Sorcerer, Druid | Paladin, Sorcerer, Druid | 280 | 2 | 0.7 |
| Great Fireball RuneSorcerer, Druid | Sorcerer, Druid | 480 | 3 | 1.2 |
| Explosion RuneSorcerer, Druid | Sorcerer, Druid | 720 | 4 | 1.8 |
| Sudden Death RuneSorcerer | Sorcerer | 880 | 5 | 2.2 |
Each full stomach asleep brings 400 mana. Awake, mana comes back only outside protection zones, and a house is one, so at home only sleep brings it back.
Houses with beds
953 of the 978 houses have at least one bed, 2,510 beds in all. The houses list shows how many each one has: sort it by beds to find the roomiest.
